Keys to Success
We are using a mantra this year called “3 Keys to Success”. This comes from Hall of Fame coach Lou Holtz. The 3 keys are:
- Each and Every day—-Do what’s right
- Each and Every day—-Work to the best of your ability
- Each and Every day—-Show someone you care
We continue to remind staff and students of these 3 keys through morning announcements and some of our teachers have them posted. As Coach Holtz says, you do these 3 things each and every day, you will be successful.
Ericka Schellenberg, 7th grade student, was selected as the Board of Education’s 99% Award Winner for Allison Traditional Magnet Middle School. This is an award that gives recognition to a student who has at least 90% attendance, is passing all classes and has no office referrals. Her teachers say, “Ericka is very reliable and dependable. She turns in her homework on time and finished. Ericka always stays on task during group activities. You can always count on her to have a positive attitude and help others in her group. She is a great student who works hard and gives her very best!” Congratulations, Ericka! Allison teacher Ms. Stewart represented Allison and is pictured above with Ericka, board member Jeff Davis, and Superintendent John Allison.
