Chess Team

Chess Team Information

Our chess team is open to ALL Allison students! Students can join the team and are not required to enroll in our Chess Team class, but they DO need to contact Mrs. Amezcua if this is the case. Chess Team class is offered during 1st hour only.

Tournaments are on Saturdays, and students must provide their own transportation to and from tournaments. Flyers for tournaments will be handed out 1-2 weeks ahead of time. If players wish to participate in the State Tournament in Emporia in March during Spring Break, they have to play in AT LEAST 2 tournaments. The tournament schedule can be found at ksca.us.
